We're looking for a UGC creator

One person, 18 or over, anywhere in the world, to make short-form video for Lovebae — the couples app. You find the formats going viral right now, work out why they work, rebuild them as ours, and post once or twice a day.

No followers needed. None. We are not after your audience — we are after your eye. If you have never been paid to film anything in your life and you know exactly which sound is about to blow up, you are who this is for.

The honest version

What this job actually is

Lovebae is an app for couples. Free games you play together — Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever, Would You Rather, the 36 questions — plus moods, love notes, streaks, the small daily stuff that keeps two people close, including when they are thousands of miles apart.

It is good. Almost nobody knows about it. That is the entire problem, and short-form video is how apps like ours get found now — not ads, not press. One video that runs is worth more than a month of everything else combined.

So we want one person who is genuinely good at this, filming consistently, for months. Not an agency. Not a campaign. A person, with taste, who is online enough to know what is funny this week.

We will be straight with you about the rest of it too: most of the videos will not go anywhere. That is how the format works. The job is to keep shipping while you learn what lands, and to not take a flat one personally. If that sounds fine rather than crushing, we should talk.

The work

The loop, four steps

Every day looks roughly like this. It gets faster as your instincts sharpen.

01

Find what’s already working

Open TikTok and Reels and actually study them. Which couple videos are pulling millions this week? Which sound is everywhere? Which format is three days old and about to peak?

02

Work out why it works

This is the part most people skip. A format goes viral for a reason — a hook in the first second, a twist at four seconds, a comment section arguing about something. Name that reason.

03

Rebuild it as ours

Same shape, our world. A couple playing Truth or Dare. A long-distance pair on a streak. A "we answered the 36 questions" reveal. You get free rein — it should feel like you, not like an ad.

04

Post it. Once or twice a day.

Consistency is the entire game. One video a day beats a perfect one a fortnight. Some will flop. That is fine and expected — we are playing for the one in twenty that runs.

Before you count yourself out

Things you do not need

This is the part people get wrong about UGC roles, so we are spelling it out.

A following

Zero followers is genuinely fine. We are not renting your audience — we are hiring you to make videos.

Experience

Never been paid to film anything? Apply. We would rather teach taste than unteach habits.

A camera

A phone is enough. It always was. Natural light and a clean lens beat a rig every time.

A certain look

There is no type. The best UGC feels like a friend filming, not a model posing.

To live anywhere near us

We are remote and always were. Your timezone is not a problem to solve.

To show your face

Preferred, not required. Plenty of formats work with hands, screens and a voiceover.

What we do need

That you are online enough to feel a trend before it peaks. That you can film something today rather than perfect it next week. That you can be warm and a little bit funny on camera. And that you will still be posting in month three, which is the one nobody tells you is the hard part.

Money

It's paid

This is work, so it is paid work. We agree the exact rate with you once we have accepted you — it depends on how much you take on and whether you would rather be paid per video or monthly.

We would rather do that properly with you than post a number here that turns out to be wrong for what you actually end up doing. Put the figure you have in mind in the form and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

The trial is paid too. We are not asking anyone to make free videos to prove themselves.

What happens next

From here to filming

  1. 1

    You apply

The form below. Five minutes, and you have to be signed in — that is how we know the email is real.

  2. 2

    We reply

Everyone hears back, yes or no, usually inside a week. No silence, no ghosting.

  3. 3

    A paid trial

A handful of videos, paid, so we both find out whether this works before anyone commits to anything.

  4. 4

    Then ongoing

If the trial goes well we agree a rate and a rhythm, and you become the voice of the account.

Apply

Two steps. About five minutes.

Sign in first — we email you a 6-digit code and you type it back. It is not an account you have to maintain; it just means the address on your application definitely reaches you, so nobody good gets lost to a typo.

Questions

The ones we keep getting

Do I really need zero followers?

Correct — follower count is not a criterion. This is not an affiliate deal where we borrow your reach. You are making videos for Lovebae’s own channels, so what matters is whether the videos are good. If you do have an audience and would rather earn commission from it, that is a different programme and it lives at /creators.

Who is this actually for?

Anyone 18 or over who can make short-form video people want to watch. There is no other filter — not a follower count, not a location, not a CV. What we care about is whether you can spot a format early and rebuild it well.

What should the videos sound like?

Most of the people who open Lovebae every day are in a relationship and use it as the small daily habit that keeps them close. Video that sounds like one of them talking to a friend outperforms anything that sounds like an ad, by a distance. You do not have to be in a relationship yourself to write in that voice, and plenty of the best couple content is filmed by one person to camera.

What does it pay?

It is paid work, and we agree the exact rate with you once we have accepted you — it depends on how much you take on and how you would rather be paid, per video or monthly. Tell us the number you have in mind in the form and we will be straight with you about whether we can meet it.

Whose accounts do I post on?

Ours, mainly — @lovebaeapp on Instagram and TikTok. If a video also fits your own account you are welcome to post it there, and we will never ask you to take something down.

How much time is this?

Realistically five to ten hours a week to hold a one-a-day rhythm once you have a system. The first fortnight is slower while you find your format. It is designed to sit alongside a job or studying.

What if I run out of ideas?

You will not be doing this alone. We share what is performing, what flopped and why, and the product gives you a lot to work with — 11 games, 2,800+ cards, streaks, moods, love notes. But the sharpest ideas will be yours, which is the whole reason we are hiring a person and not writing a brief.

Is this safe / what is the content like?

Playful, flirty at the top end, never explicit. Think date-night energy. Nothing we would ask you to film is anything you would be uncomfortable showing a friend.

Still not sure whether you count? Apply anyway. It takes five minutes and we reply to everyone.
